6.2| User/Target Audience Feedback

  1. Who you connected with
     for feedback.
    • Provide a brief explanation of who they are.  Do they qualify as a potential user?  Could they be a  member of the target audience?
  2. How you connected (face-to-face, email, survey with several participants, etc.).
  3. What you shared and what questions you asked.  Think about a strategic line of questioning and approach to presenting your work.  What features make the most sense to share in order to gain feedback from this user?
  4. What feedback they provided.
  5. Briefly indicate what you plan to do according to the feedback you received.  In other words, given what you're hearing, what do you think will need to be adjusted moving forward?

  • An outside audience - Color Club. Plan to do this when I have available studio time.
  • An early round of user/target audience feedback is due next week - Unglued, Fargo, ND - response expected on Monday.

What do you find successful in this project? It is definitely inspiring and I believe I could be relatively successful

What could be done to improve this product? Maybe FAQs?

Was there anything missing that you expected? Maybe brief history of the craft/skill/technique?? (Sorry if it’s here and I missed it)

Please describe your general thoughts in regards to the Who Made Who Art Kits:

I think they are a niche product that people would want. It doesn't seem like there is huge market saturation either. The graphics are great. They have just enough copy/infographics. I would absolutely buy one.

What do you find successful in this project?

I looked through the videos and website as well as the attachment and I thought the branding was really consistent. The voice of the project speaks really loudly, as in, it all looks like it goes together.  So even if you have 10 different types of art kits, they all look like part of a really cohesive Who Made Who brand.

What could be done to improve this product?

To be honest, I think it's all really well done. I'm not sure I totally understand how the creativity boost works with the projects, but I really appreciated the tips. I didn't know that all those things helps boost creativity, so mission accomplished teaching something knew. I did absolutely LOVE the video about it. Very well done.

Was there anything missing that you expected?

Dying to know the price!!!

Please describe your general thoughts in regards to the Who Made Who Art Kits:

What do you find successful in this project? The kits seem well thought through. I appreciate having both printed written instructions as well as digital links to the instructions.

What could be done to improve this product? I am a visual learner and will often reference YouTube for instructions. I’m not sure if it’s “doable” but the printed instructions (the black boxes) might be more effective if they had a simple illustration of the step. (Could also appeal to non English learners/ more accessible?) But I also get what you are trying to do by making everything simplified into 4 easy steps (very impactful and appealing to someone who might not consider themselves creative) and perhaps it would be too cluttered if the illustrations were added.

Was there anything missing that you expected?  I noticed that the XD prototype wasn’t completed yet, but that might be part of the assignment- to only take it so far, hence the ‘prototype’ designation. I also noticed that the links on the Next Steps weren’t active yet (instructional videos, etc.)

This is so much work! I’m super impressed with this and I know that these kits could be very successful!
